Patriotism is not waving a flag.

Waving a flag is not the only way to be patriotic. Just because I don’t go around wearing a lapel pin of the flag doesn’t mean I’m not patriotic. This is so ridiculous. Any idiot can wave a flag. And being a patriot has nothing to do with your party lines. It’s about loving a country and knowing when things aren’t how they should be and loving it enough to make a difference. Patriotism is not just blindly accepting things as they are because you spend too much time eating fast food, watching television, and blaming everything on other people. Take some fucking responsibility. Now if you’ll excuse me, I’d like to step off my soapbox and go craft.
